The Third Trimester Begins!

Last Saturday, my mother-in-law threw a baby shower for myself and my sister-in-law, Molly. It was so fun! My mother-in-law had three boys so she wanted to get all of her pink frustration out I suppose, because everything was PINK! Molly is due July 27, about a month before me, and we're both having girls! The shower was a success, to say the least. It was small & relaxed, and I enjoyed seeing all of Jared's family. There was lots of belly touching going on and people saying how cute we looked. Can't wait til this baby gets here so people stop staring at me, and start oogling over how cute she is! The shower was an incredible blessing. We received so many wonderful gifts, thank you everyone! And thank you to my awesome mom-in-law, Jan, for making it all come together! Love you!

Yep, I am carrying high...so high that I am constantly being kicked in the ribs. My lungs are being squashed, so I'm pretty much out of breath all of the time. And the worst of it all, I have been dealing with major acid reflux every single night. Bleh. However, I kinda feel good being all extra curvy now. The third trimester has been good to me! No major issues, the baby is growing healthy...and so am I. Total weight gain for the pregnancy so far: 13 pounds. If I start gaining 1lb a week, with 11 weeks to go, the doctor says I'm right on target with the recommended 25-30lb gain! Phew! We'll see though...I could explode out of nowhere towards the end of this thing. ;)

Sorry for the lack of posting lately.

We're all moved into our new place, and finally getting settled in. The baby's room is full of baby stuff! I go in there every day just to look at it all haha! Sometime next week, Jared's going to put the crib together, and I'm going to start arranging the room the way we want it. Pictures will come!

We have our great friends' wedding this weekend, so I'll be back with another post after that!
